Uprooted from his post-graduate picket-fence check-box life trajectory by a series of unfortunate events at the age of twenty-five, the author has spent the last third of his life actively getting lost and stumbling across adventures in a wide variety of places across the globe.

 

A lifelong fantasy and science fiction buff, he was lured in at a young age by the discovery of a well-worn copy of The Two Towers on his mother's bookshelf, and Tolkien became the gateway drug to a not-at-all misspent youth of fantasy and science fiction world building, role-playing adventures with friends, and online gaming that eventually co-mingled into a pretty lucrative career in entrepreneurship and digital nomadry. 

 

These days he splits his time between the U.S., Eastern Europe, and S.E. Asia because it beats the hell out of an office and a daily commute and the food is way, way better.
