Within the vast red wastelands of the known world, there are three great, domed cities. Three bastions of what remains of the human race.

 

Nyyt, once a city of commerce and discovery, now slowly decaying under the weight of its own internal power struggles.

 

Taravor, a city of ancient wisdom and charity of spirit, losing its war against deprivation and need.

 

And Eliseth, a city surrounded by a vast forest and steeped in the lore of the hunt, but embattled both within and without because of a violent culture made necessary by the lack of one vitally important resource.

Though each has existed since before the Fall, nearly three millennia past, each of the great cities now find their very existence threatened as ancient safeguards fail and their own nature begins to unwind them.
